Landscape designer normally received a formal education as they are required in getting the license for operating as a landscape designer. Most of them own their businesses whilst others work for government bodies designing the urban and rural landscape. Some work for private entities.
The landscape designer, most of them major in horticulture and landscape construction. Other major studies required to be a landscape designer include the study of landscape conservation, garden design and landscape technology
Landscape designer draws the plan of a selected project and often they are on-site meeting their client to work within the requirement of their customer of the garden space. They are the mastermind of creating a garden by hiring groups of contractors to plant specific plants and also building any infrastructure that helps to support the garden
Landscape designer combines the natural element of earth and the building structures that support the construction of a garden. An effective designer is not only focussing in creating a garden dreamt by their client but they too manage it to the best of their ability. Budget and planning are also one of the major aspects of landscape designs.
The skills that make a successful designer is the attention to details, mathematical skill, negotiation skill upon meeting with their client. Building and knowledge of construction are equally important to find the best possible ways to manage the budget of the project
